Just use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to set your hourly wage and the cost of the item you're thinking about buying. Then, hit the "Calculate Time Cost" button to see how many hours you'd need to work to afford it.

Just take the Cost of the Item and divide it by your Hourly Wage. This gives you the total hours of work required. (Taxes aren't included, so think of this as a pre-tax calculation)
