How percentage discount quiz works

This tool is designed to help me calculate discounts I might see while shopping, both online and in stores.

I will see a mix of two different types of real-world discount questions:

Percentage Discount (e.g., "20% of $80.00"): The correct answer for these is always the dollar amount of the discount (the amount I save).

Fixed-Amount Discount (e.g., "$15.00 off $150.00"): The correct answer for these is always the final sale price I would pay.

When I Answer:

If Correct: The quiz confirms the answer and automatically loads the next question after a brief pause.

If Incorrect: The quiz shows me the correct answer, highlights my mistake, and provides a quick, step-by-step lesson explaining exactly how to calculate the correct amount. I must read the lesson and then click the "Try Another Question" button to advance.
